Found this buried in my collection and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Carmenere is a blending grape from Bordeaux that is bottled as its own varietal from the Colochagua Valley in Chile. This 14 year old vintage was 75% Carmenere, 15% Cabernet, and 10% Syrah. Slight rustic tint to the dark color with some fine sentiment. Plum, blackberry, green pepper, and vanilla flavors.
